  • I happened upon a flyer a couple of days before the event and decided I would go right then. My heart is so full and so very thankful to have shared this beautiful afternoon and experience with such knowledgeable, kind, and amazing human beings. From the moment we stopped by we were warmly welcomed and shown the wonders of this tree I have been chasing for years! Meisha, her family, neighbors, and other curious learners were incredible and delightful as we gathered around the tables. I feel this project gives life to the folks involved by waking us back up to the life around us. Absolutely mind blown at Meisha’s patience, passion and love for the living world!

  • I had such a great time at the community garden party PAW PAW Spotlight! I got to dive into all things paw paw, and even tried it for the first time. As a Caribbean girl, I immediately picked up on the hints of pineapple, mango, and maybe even a little banana—such a unique and complex mix of flavors! I also learned a ton about the history and how to grow it. Plus, I got to build a bug hotel, which was super fun and something totally new for me! The whole event was so well organized—from learning some history, to getting hands-on, meeting new people, and trying delicious paw paw fruit and ice cream! It was an awesome experience all around.
